| Plastisol
|
A 200 micron PVC paint system with a leathergrain emboss.
This product has good corrosion resistance and good
handleability due to the thickness of the coating.
It has excellent formability characteristics and is suited
to cladding and roofing applications. |
| Laminate |
PVC films are laminated directly onto the steel substrate.
A wide range of films are available dependant upon application.
For example a Food Safe quality is available for coldstores and clean rooms.
External finishes such as Woodgrain effect are available, end uses
include the manufacture of garage doors. |
| Co-Laminate
|
This is a pre-coated steel covered by a co-rolled PolyEthylene
Telephtalate polymer film (P.E.T). The PET film protects the
pre-painted product, providing good scratch resistance and
protection against most corrosive detergents and powerful sprays,
making it a popular product in the manufacture of coldstores and
refrigerated display units. |
| Aluzinc |
A double sided Aluminium-Zinc alloy applied via a continuous hot
dipped process similar to that used in the production of galvanised
steel gives us Aluzinc. The coating of 55% Aluminium, 43.4% Zinc
and 1.6% Silicon provides over 6 times the corrosion resistance
of Hot Dipped Galvanised steel. |
| Organitect |
A range of metallic coatings with a specially developed one
micron organic sealant. This is a proven product in both the
Garage Door and Coldstore markets. Benefits include protection
from "Fingerprint marking" and excellent surface for
painting and adhesion. |
| PVF2
|
Two layer system, consisting of approx. 5 microns Primer and approx.
20 microns top coat with good forming behaviour in connection with
a very good weathering resistance. Its characteristics make it ideal
for demanding external applications. |
| Primer |
Various different formulations of primers as pre-painted products,
facilitate second stage processing. Such second stage operations
include over painting in the case of garage / domestic doors, and
adhesives for backing panels and strengthening strips. |
| Polyurethane |
A specially formulated paint available in coating thicknesses ranging
from 25-50 microns. It is designed for demanding applications, where
combined flexibility and durability are required. |
| Polyester |
A range of polyester resins available for both internal and external
use, with both smooth and textured finishes. |
| Pural |
Pural is a polyurethane-based coating best suited for various kinds of
roof sheets, profiling, air conditioning units, general exterior panel
work and other demanding external environments. It is also suitable for
facades, guttering systems and other sheet cladding and coping. The new
environmentally friendly Pural has excellent durability. It is highly
resistant to the wear caused by snow and ice and solar radiation and
is well suited to coastal locations. Further advantages include good
resistance to chemicals and easy touch-up painting. |
| Granite |
Dense grain Polyester coated mild steel specially developed to provide
architects and manufacturers with a realistic and affordable
alternative to Plastisol 150-200 microns. It has hard wearing
capabilities and is suited to applications such as roofing,
cladding, air conditioning, external electrical units and other
casings used in very difficult environmental conditions. |
| Rubberised Membranes |
A range of TPO & PVC single-ply membranes laminated to a Galvanised steel
substrate. Predominantly used in the roofing industry for the manufacture
of gutter systems, flashings, parapet copings and flat roofs. |
