ARM400 is a fine grain hardened steel with a Brinell Hardness number averaging over 400HB. This hardness gives the steel a life expectancy five times greater than some softer steels. ARM400 is enriched in chromium & molybdenum carbides, meaning it is worked-hardenable when abraded. It is often employed in situations where lengthy abrasion resistance, good impact strength and high mechanical characteristics are required.
